Ceremonies

Undergraduate Convocation - Saturday May 12th at 9:00am
Convocation for baccalaureate degree graduates of L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science will be held at Manley Field House. Tickets are not required for this event and all guests are welcome. Manley Field House is accessible to individuals with disabilities, and free parking is available.

Following the Convocation ceremony on Saturday, we will host a light reception at Drumlins Country Club, 800 Nottingham Road, for graduates and their guests.

Graduate Convocation - Saturday May 12th in Hendricks Chapel at 1:00pm 
Convocation for masters and doctoral degree graduates of L.C.Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science will be held at Hendricks Chapel, located on the Quad. Tickets are not required for this event and all guests are welcome. Please refer to the parking maps on the Commencement website for available lots to park in.

Following the Convocation ceremony on Saturday, we will host a light reception in the Atrium of the Life Sciences Building for graduates and their guests

Graduates! Please show up to the ceremony early. Allow yourself enough time in case of problematic circumstances such as traffic delays and construction, congestion on roads leading to the University, and finding parking. Remember the ceremony will start on time. There are so many graduating students we don’t know if YOU haven’t arrived or you’re running late, so please make sure you arrive early.

Graduate Convocation Rehearsal - Thursday May 10th at 2:00 pm in Hendricks Chapel
Undergraduate Convocation Rehearsal - Friday May 11th at 4:00pm In Manley Field House.
Graduates are strongly encouraged to attend.

Commencement Information

All alumni who want to return to participate in commencement must contact: Josie Torrillo jatorril@syr.edu.
Permission letter requests by international students – will need to fill out the form on the Slutzker website

Last day to fill out the diploma request on MySlice is April 15th. If you fill out the diploma request after this date your name will not appear in the convocation program.
