Dean Laura J. Steinberg Attends White House Event

On February 8, 2012 the White House invited deans of colleges of engineering to come together to honor their commitment to educate and graduate more engineers and to announce the creation of a unique partnership to measure, evaluate, and celebrate excellence in retention, graduation, and diversity in engineering education.
In addition to the speakers scheduled to present to the deans, President Obama addressed the attendees. Dean Laura J. Steinberg of the L.C. Smith College was in attendance and wrote a blog post about her experience at the White House.
