July 15, 2009           Dr. Ren received Early Career Translational Research Awards in Biomedical Engineering from the Wallace H. Coulter Foundation

July 14, 2009           Robert Szkotak successfully defended his MS thesis. He also received the Outstanding Bioengineering Graduate Student award. Congratulations!

Opening Position  A postdoctoral position starting immediately is available in Ren lab at the Department of Biomedical and Chemical Engineering of Syracuse University. This position offers opportunities to carry out research in the field of biofilm engineering. Candidates with background in engineering, chemistry, or biology will all be considered.
