Research Interests
Prof.Higuchi performs experimental fluid dynamics and aerodynamics research, with a concentration on bluff-body aerodynamics and flow visualization techniques. Prof. Higuchi's research on bluff-body aerodynamics is motivated by a desire to understand and control the complex, three-dimensional, time-dependent motions in these wake flows. Research techniques include laser Doppler velocimetry, stereo and time-resolved particle image velocimetry, and full-field flow visualization.

Teaching Interests
Aerodynamics, Aircraft Dynamics, Fluids Measurements, Turbulence, Biofluid
mechanics
